Susan Seddon Boulet: The Goddess Paintings brings together the magnificent paintings of Susan Seddon Boulet with insightful, scholarly text by Michael Babcock, a San Francisco Bay Area writer who has studied mythology extensively. Set against Babcock's backdrop of history, mythology, and psychology, Boulet's luminous paintings of Psyche, Athena, Gaia, and forty-two other goddesses come to vibrant life. These paintings are among the best-known and most highly regarded of the artist's oeuvre.
Mike Babcock, a freelance writer, has covered Cornhusker football for twenty years, including seventeen at the "Lincoln Journal Star" and now as a contributing editor for "Huskers Illustrated". He also writes a sports column for the Omaha-based entertainment weekly "The Reader". He had some hands-on experience (of a sort) in the program, helping Gib Babcock, the equipment manager and his uncle, put red stripes on Cornhusker helmets in the late 1960s while he was a sophomore English major at the university.

I'm teaching out of this book this semester, having previously taught out of Perloff and Pindyck, and so far am unimpressed. Not surprisingly, in 360 they declared him emperor.
Julian began his march toward Byzantium to confront Constantius. I accidentally ordered these twice. But something does not quite add for me:
Solve third world poverty by making everyone consumers? Buy more plastic goods?
Some of the cases are good stories and I am not against the ideabut something is missing here. Nice book, came in short time with good price and good package, my wife loves it and we will recommend it. Incidentally the early years include the inputs of European fine arts and the Bauhaus.
The book is actually in three parts, the history of typographic design to Seventies then there is a long section dealing with actual typefaces and the beginnings of computer setting followed by the final section on typographic design from 1970. I may understand it all
