As an older guy, 57, I wasn't sure I would find much interest in a Young Adult fiction book, but I must say, this was done well, and surely has a capability for a screenplay! Yes! 5 Stars! I admit, I was hoping for bombs bursting in air, but the intended audience is not old Marines, it is the young adult crowd, those who still have a fresh outlook on life and do not have the need to be overstimulated to even BE stimulated!
The book was well written, the storyline easy to follow, and the characters were well portrayed. What a bunch of empty junk I wrote in that tweet. Because that's what this book is about: 95% of it bows to the contemporary player's god -- the doubling cube. I’ve done some training and plan on augmenting what I’m doing with what I’ve learned in this book. The best I can come up with is that this is a somewhat short book. It helps imagination.
