Michael B. Weinstock, MD, obtained his bachelor s degree with a major in economics from Northwestern University and his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. In 1995, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, concurrent with the release of the first edition of The Resident s Guide to Ambulatory Care. In addition to currently working as a full time emergency medicine physician, he spent 12 years as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Infectious Diseases Clinic at Ohio State University caring for patients and as an HIV/ AIDS clinical trials sub investigator. He is now an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Chairman and Director of Medical Education in the Emergency Department at Mt. Carmel St. Ann s, and Medical director of The Ohio Dominican University PA studies program. In addition to the ambulatory care books, he has authored Bouncebacks!
I am a girl that never puts bumper stickers on her car, but damnit I had to do it!! I look in the review mirror and see people straining to read, and then laughing their heads off! What better way to prove your point than with humor! I loved every one of these stickers, and I wouldnt suggest mailing them out of envelope, they are so great mailmen will be stealing them :). It's great for small group or individual study (targeting female audience), and calls for honesty and application in one's own life. Speaking as a Middle School Counselor dealing with cyber-bullying issues on an almost daily basis, this book is a wonderful resource to me. Mary Phyllis writes an informative explanation of the process.. Plan on working through the others in the series as well :). There are some religious references (Mormon), but I didn't find them intrusive or feel that they made the book less powerful. Awful writing.. I feel smarter now..
